๐ŸŒ„ Baguio TravelOG: A Cozy Escape to the City of Pines

๐Ÿ“ … • ๐Ÿ•’ … • ๐Ÿ“… … • ๐ŸŒŠ …

There’s something about Baguio that keeps calling you back—the cool air, the smell of pine trees, the slow mornings, and of course… the food. This trip was a mix of everything we love: good food, family time, quiet moments, and a lot of walking (and eating ๐Ÿ˜…).

Breakfast at Good Taste, Baguio

๐Ÿณ First Stop: Breakfast at Good Taste

We started the day at Good Taste—and honestly, no Baguio trip feels complete without it.

The place was packed (as expected), but the wait was worth it. We ordered burgers, fries, and pizza to share, and everything came out fast and in huge portions.

Good Taste never disappoints—affordable, big servings, and perfect for groups.

Tip: Highly recommended if you're traveling with a big group. Super sulit!

Burnham Park, Baguio

๐ŸŒณ Burnham Park & City Stroll

After we ate, we headed to Burnham Park to walk off all the food. The place was lively—families biking, kids running around, and street performers everywhere.

Simple joys at Burnham Park—bike rides, fresh air, and fun street moments.

Lourdes Grotto, Baguio

๐Ÿ™ A Quiet Morning at Lourdes Grotto

The next day started early with a visit to Lourdes Grotto. Climbing the stairs was a bit of a workout, but once you reach the top, everything slows down.

Worth every step. A peaceful place to reflect.

Mirador Heritage & Eco Park

๐ŸŒฟ Mirador Heritage & Eco Park

From Lourdes, we went to Mirador. This place was surprisingly beautiful—part spiritual, part scenic, and very relaxing.

A hidden gem in Baguio—quiet, scenic, and refreshing.

Ten Commandments landmark

๐Ÿ”️ Quick Stop: Ten Commandments Landmark

We made a quick stop to see the Ten Commandments site—something unique you don’t usually see on trips like this.

A quick photo stop, but definitely worth it.

Baguio Cathedral

⛪ Baguio Cathedral

Before heading back, we visited the Baguio Cathedral. The red towers against the blue sky looked even more beautiful in person.

One of Baguio’s most iconic landmarks.

Wright Park

๐Ÿด Wright Park Moments

One of the highlights for the kids was horseback riding. Seeing them excited (and a bit nervous at first) was priceless.

First horse ride experience—core memory unlocked.

Strawberry farm, La Trinidad

๐ŸŒฑ Strawberry Farm & Fresh Finds

We also dropped by the strawberry farm in La Trinidad. Rows of fresh produce and cool mountain air—it felt refreshing just walking around.

Fresh, local, and a must-visit in Benguet.

Flower farms and mountain views, Baguio

๐ŸŒธ Flowers, Views & Mountain Air

The flower farms were easily one of the most beautiful parts of the trip. Bright colors everywhere, with mountains in the background—it almost didn’t feel real.

Endless flowers and mountain views.

Mountain views, end of trip

๐ŸŒ„ Ending the Trip

We ended the trip just soaking in the views—mountains, pine trees, and that cool Baguio breeze.

It wasn’t rushed. No strict schedule. Just enjoying each stop as it came.

✨ Final Thoughts

Baguio isn’t just about the places—it’s about the feeling. Slow mornings, shared meals, and moments with people you care about.

Don’t skip Good Taste—especially if you’re with a big group. ๐Ÿ˜„
